Main Ingredients
- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed
In a large bowl, combine cabbage, onion, and sugar.
In a saucepan, combine vinegar, salt, celery seed, and mustard seed. Bring to a boil.
Pour hot vinegar mixture over cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve chilled.
