  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Apple peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Butter for cooking

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
  4. Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté the apple slices until tender.
  6. Serve the French toast topped with the sautéed apples and a sprinkle of extra cinnamon if desired.
