Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and cold butter. Mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add ice water gradually and mix until the dough comes together. Form into a disk, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and fit it into a tart pan. Trim the edges.
In another bowl, mix sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
Arrange the apple mixture in the tart crust.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender.
