Main Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ⅓ cup pine nuts toasted
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
1. In a food processor, combine avocados, basil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped.
2. With the processor running, slowly add olive oil and lemon juice until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
