Main Ingredients
- 2 cups navy beans
- ½ cup diced bacon
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ cup molasses
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large pot, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
In the same pot, sauté onion until translucent.
Add beans, bacon, molasses, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and water. Stir well.
Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 1 hour.
