Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. Pour into a baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
