Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cold butter cut into small pieces
- ¾ cup milk
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add milk, stirring until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 8-10 times.
Roll out the dough to ½ inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
