Ingredients 

Pancake Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in bananas and chocolate chips.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, grease lightly.
  5. Pour batter onto the pan, cook until bubbles form, flip and cook until golden brown.
