Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 head Cabbage large
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully remove the core from the cabbage and place the whole head in the boiling water. Cook for a few minutes until the outer leaves are tender. Remove the cabbage and peel off the softened leaves. Repeat until you have enough leaves.
  3. 3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. 4. Place a few tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf. Fold in the sides and roll up, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. 5. Place the rolls in a baking dish and pour tomato sauce over the top.
  6. 6. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours, or until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
