Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 0.25 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 unit Egg beaten

Filling

  • 2 cups Mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly. Add beaten egg and mix until dough forms.
  3. Press dough into a tart pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, mix berries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Pour over cooled crust.
  5. Bake for another 15 minutes or until filling is set. Let it cool before serving.
