Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 large green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. 3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, black beans, and water. Bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
