Bolognese Tagliatelle Recipe

Bolognese Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 cup Red wine
- 28 oz Canned tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried basil
- to taste Salt and pepper
Pasta
- 12 oz Tagliatelle
- for serving Grated Parmesan cheese
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
4. Pour in the red wine and let it simmer until it has mostly evaporated.
5. Stir in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
7. Cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
8. Serve the Bolognese sauce over the tagliatelle and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
