Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef bones preferably with marrow
  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 2 large carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic smashed
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pepper to taste
  • 10 cups water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bones on a baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Transfer the roasted bones to a large pot. Add the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for at least 4 hours.
  4. 4. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh strainer and discard the solids. Let it cool before storing.
