Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Breakfast sausage
  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuits
  • 6 Eggs
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cut biscuits into quarters and place them in a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread cooked sausage over the biscuits.
  6. Pour egg mixture over the sausage and biscuits.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, until eggs are set and biscuits are golden brown.
  8. While casserole is baking, make the gravy: In the same skillet, add flour to the sausage drippings and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve casserole hot, topped with gravy.
