Breakfast Sausage Pot Pie Recipe

- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 pie crust store-bought or homemade
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pour the sausage mixture into the crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the pie is golden brown and the filling is set.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
