Broccoli Cheddar Casserole
A comforting casserole made with broccoli and cheddar cheese.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups Broccoli florets
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5 minutes.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens. Add salt and pepper.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 ½ cups of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the steamed broccoli and cheese sauce. Transfer to a baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
