- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken breasts and cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Return chicken to the skillet and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
