  • 2 cups Heavy Cream cold
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt optional

Instructions 

  1. Pour the heavy cream into the mixer bowl.
  2. Start mixing on medium speed until the cream thickens and separates into butter and buttermilk.
  3. Drain the buttermilk and rinse the butter with cold water.
  4. Add salt if desired and mix again until well combined.
  5. Shape the butter into a block or place in a container and refrigerate.
