Cabbage Roll Casserole Recipe

- 1 head cabbage chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup rice cooked
- 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
- 1 can diced tomatoes 15 oz
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
In a baking dish, layer half of the chopped cabbage, then half of the beef mixture. Repeat the layers.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
