Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef cut into small pieces
- 4 slices Bacon chopped
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Pinto Beans cooked
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 Tomatillos chopped
- 1 bunch Cilantro chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
1. In a large pot, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the beef and cook until browned.
3. Add the onion, garlic, and tomatillos. Cook until softened.
4. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Add the cooked pinto beans and crispy bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
