Cauliflower Gratin Recipe
A creamy, cheesy cauliflower gratin that's perfect as a side dish or a main course.

- 1 head Cauliflower cut into florets
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg optional
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Place the cauliflower in a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over it.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
