Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the French bread loaf in half lengthwise.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  4. Spread the butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the bread.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
