Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar.
  4. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish.
  6. Scatter the cherries evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden and set.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
