1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until no longer pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine. Serve immediately.
