Ingredients 

Brine Ingredients

  • 1 gallon Water
  • ¾ cup Kosher salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine water, kosher salt, and sugar. Stir until dissolved.
  2. 2. Add black peppercorns, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine.
  3. 3. Submerge chicken in the brine. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. 4. Remove chicken from brine, rinse, and pat dry before cooking.
