Dumplings
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoon Butter melted
Chicken Filling
- 2 cups Cooked chicken shredded
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 cup Mixed vegetables frozen
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt for the dumplings.
Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Set aside.
In a pot, combine shredded chicken, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter into the simmering chicken mixture. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, until dumplings are cooked through.
Serve hot and enjoy!
