Ingredients 

Dumplings

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted

Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables frozen
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt for the dumplings.
  2. Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Set aside.
  3. In a pot, combine shredded chicken, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter into the simmering chicken mixture. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, until dumplings are cooked through.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
