Chicken Tinola Recipe
A comforting Filipino chicken soup with ginger, green papaya, and chili leaves.

Main Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 piece Green papaya, sliced
- 2 cups Chili leaves
- 1 thumb Ginger, julienned
- 5 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 piece Onion, chopped
- 4 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. In a pot, sauté garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.
3. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Add the green papaya and cook until tender.
5. Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
6. Add the chili leaves and cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Serve hot with rice.
