Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 1 lb chicken breast diced
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups carrots sliced
  • 2 cups celery sliced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook wild rice according to package instructions.
  2. 2. In a large pot, sauté onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until tender.
  3. 3. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  4. 4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir in cooked wild rice and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Simmer for another 10 minutes, then serve hot.
