Main Ingredients
- ½ cup Unsalted butter plus extra for greasing
- 4 oz Bittersweet chocolate chopped
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 Egg yolks
- ¼ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt until thick and pale.
Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, then fold in the flour until just combined.
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
Let the cakes cool in the ramekins for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert onto plates. Serve immediately.
