Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. Stir in mixed vegetables, tomato paste, and flour. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add beef broth, bring to a simmer and cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
