Main Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb or beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- to taste salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
Stir in mixed vegetables, tomato paste, and flour. Cook for a few minutes.
Add beef broth, bring to a simmer and cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
