Main Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed 15 oz
- 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed 15 oz
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed 15 oz
- 1 can diced tomatoes 15 oz
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
3. Stir in the kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, and diced tomatoes.
4. Add the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
5. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
