Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Mix well.
  4. Spread the beef mixture into a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
