Ingredients

  • 1 lb Crab meat picked over for shells
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, beaten egg, and chopped parsley. Mix gently to combine.
  2. Form the mixture into 8 patties. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them set.
  3. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
