  • 0.5 teaspoon Yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and mix with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12 hours at room temperature.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place the Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
  6. Carefully place the dough into the preheated Dutch oven. Cover with the lid.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove the bread from the Dutch oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
