  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat treat the flour by microwaving it for about 1 minute or until it reaches 165°F to kill any bacteria.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. 3. Add vanilla extract and milk, and mix until combined.
  4. 4. Gradually add the heat-treated flour and mix until just combined.
  5. 5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. 6. Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
