  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 slices green onions chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a pot.
  2. 2. Add the cornstarch mixture and soy sauce to the broth, stirring constantly.
  3. 3. Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the broth while stirring gently to create egg ribbons.
  4. 4. Add sesame oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
