Ingredients 

Falafel Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried chickpeas soaked overnight
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and baking powder. Process until mixture is coarse and holds together when pressed.
  2. 2. Add flour and pulse until combined. Form mixture into small balls or patties.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry falafel until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Serve falafel in wraps with your favorite toppings.
