Pancake Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1.5 cups milk
- 0.25 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, another 2-3 minutes.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
