Ingredients 

Salad Ingredients

  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Cucumber, diced
  • ½ cup Red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ cup Fresh mint, chopped
  • 2 pieces Pita bread, toasted and broken into pieces

Dressing Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Sumac
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Toast the pita bread in a skillet until crispy, then break into pieces.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, parsley, and mint.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
  5. 5. Add the toasted pita pieces and toss again just before serving.
