Main Ingredients
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 Egg beaten
- ¾ cup Milk
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
- as needed Powdered sugar for dusting
- as needed Oil for frying
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle or funnel and drizzle into the hot oil in a circular pattern.
Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
