Main Ingredients
- 1 bottle Red Wine 750ml
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 5 Cloves
- 1 Orange sliced
- 1 Lemon sliced
1. In a large saucepan, combine water, sugar, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer.
2. Cut the orange and lemon into slices and add to the mixture along with the cloves.
3. Continue simmering for 5-10 minutes, until the mixture is thick and syrupy.
4. Reduce heat to low and add the wine. Heat gently until warm, but do not boil.
5. Strain and serve hot in mugs or heatproof glasses.
