Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Breast cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Sliced Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Sliced Red Onions
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. 2. Add chicken strips to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. 4. Warm the pita bread on the grill pan for about 1 minute on each side.
  5. 5. Assemble the gyros by placing chicken strips on the pita bread, then add tzatziki sauce, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and shredded lettuce.
  6. 6. Fold the pita bread and serve immediately.
