Instructions
1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.

4. Add the diced potatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
5. Stir in the diced ham and milk. Cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
