Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken about 4 pounds
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
- 2 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary chopped
- 2 tablespoon Fresh Thyme chopped
- 1 whole Lemon halved
- 4 cloves Garlic crushed
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Sprinkle the chopped rosemary and thyme over the chicken.
Place the lemon halves and garlic cloves inside the chicken cavity.
Put the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
