  • 0.5 cup white vinegar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp. Remove bacon, crumble, and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, combine sugar, vinegar, water, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  3. Add crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Serve warm over salad.
