Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef roast, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and bell peppers, cook until soft.
  4. Add beef slices and beef broth, simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place hoagie rolls on a baking sheet.
  7. Fill each roll with beef mixture and top with provolone cheese.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
