Italian Stuffed Peppers Recipe

- 4 bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- to taste salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Stuff each bell pepper with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Top each stuffed pepper with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
