Jewish Chicken Soup Recipe
A comforting and traditional Jewish chicken soup recipe.

Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cleaned and cut into pieces
- 4 large Carrots peeled and chopped
- 2 large Celery Stalks chopped
- 1 large Onion peeled and halved
- 1 bunch Fresh Dill tied together with string
- 1 bunch Fresh Parsley tied together with string
- 2 cloves Garlic peeled
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper whole
- 10 cups Water
1. Place the chicken in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
2. Skim off any foam that rises to the top.
3. Add the carrots, celery, onion, dill, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper to the pot.
4. Simmer for about 2 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
5. Remove the chicken and vegetables from the pot. Strain the broth if desired.
6. Serve the soup hot, with pieces of chicken and vegetables in each bowl.
