Main Ingredients
- 4 eggs separated
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tablespoon butter for frying
- 1 handful raisins optional
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting
Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, milk, flour, sugar, and salt until smooth.
Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.
Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour in the batter and sprinkle with raisins if using.
Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook until the other side is golden brown.
Using a spatula, tear the pancake into bite-sized pieces and continue cooking until fully cooked through.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
