Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • to garnish Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add diced potatoes and mix well.
  7. Cover and cook on low heat until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
  8. Stir in garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
